Soul Mates - A Must Read

I am working on a new article and I come to realize something, I need help. I hit a major wall and I hit it hard. So here is my question, what do you think a “Soul Mate” is? Does your “Soul Mate” have to be your lover? Can a “Soul Mate” be a pet, a friend, a really close relative? Serious answers please.
